Friday Night Smackdown Feb. 17 edition

Fireworks go off as HCW Smackdown makes its debut.

Michael Cole: Welcome to Smackdown!

Booker T: That's right, and do we have a night for you, first off, Intercontinental Champ Cody Rhodes against World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton.

Wade Barrett: Randy Orton? That lunatic wouldn't stand a chance against me.

Randy Orton: Really? Barrett, why don't I take up your offer tonight?

Wade: One condition. It is a handicap match.

Randy: You're on.

Booker T: Instead of Randy going one on one with Rhodes tonight, it will be Jeff Hardy against Rhodes, the title is on the line!

Match 1: Intercontinental Title: Cody Rhodes vs Jeff Hardy

The bell rings, and Jeff tackles Rhodes. Jeff locks in a sleeper, but Rhodes headbutts his way out. Jeff dropkicks Rhodes. Rhodes gets up and pushes away another dropkick. Rhodes clotheslines Jeff, and rests. Rhodes tries to DDT Jeff, but Jeff flips him and pins. 1...KICKOUT. Jeff gets up, and tries to springboard into a flying fourarm, but Rhodes moves out of the way, and locks in a one-legged boston crab. Jeff tries not to tap, and reaches the ropes in time. Rhodes lets go, and Jeff kicks him straight across the face. Jeff climbs up onto the turnbuckle, and hits a missile dropkick. Jeff sets up for the Twist of Fate, but Rhodes low blows him, and the ref disqualifies him. Winner by disqualification: Jeff Hardy.

Cody grabs his title and laughs. Jeff looks angrily at Cody.

Cody: I am the best Intercontinental Champion in the world!

Cody laughs.

Match 2: The Undertaker vs Jinder Mahal

Undertaker comes out slowly, but Jinder hits him from behind with a steel pipe. Jinder reaches under the ring and lifts out a casket and a cart. Jinder puts the casket on top of the cart, and lifts Undertaker up. Jinder throws Undertaker into the casket, and carts him to the top of the ramp.

Jinder: Rest In Hell, Undertaker!

Jinder lights the casket on fire.

Jinder: Burn inside, too!

Jinder's not done, as he pushes the casket off of the stage, and onto the maintenance part of the arena.

Booker T: Undertaker's in dat casket!

The crowd looks on in shock while Jinder laughs maniacally.

Jinder: Everyone can be broken! I will show that to Undertaker next week in our Buried Alive match!

All of a sudden, Undertaker's voice comes out of nowhere.

Undertaker's voice: Jinder Mahal, I am coming for your soul!

Match 3: The Miz vs. The Rock

The Rock comes out with a big pop from the crowd. The Miz comes out to mostly boos.

The bell rings and Rock dodges a clothesline from Miz. Miz tries for a dropkick, but Rock pushes it away. Miz slides underneath and Belly to Back Suplexes Rock. Rock is right back up onto his feet and he clotheslines Miz. Rock Irish Whips Miz into the corner and clotheslines him. Rock boots Miz back down to the ground and stomps on him. Rock taunts Miz and DDTs him. Rock dodges a groggy hit from Miz and he spears him. Rock taunts Miz again, and hits a neckbreaker when he gets up. Rock grabs Miz and pulls him up. Rock taunts Miz right in his face before connecting with a Rock Bottom. Rock isn't done, and he hits a People's Elbow on Miz before pinning. 1, 2, NO! Rock lets him go at a count of two, as he wants to make Miz hurt. He locks in the Sharpshooter on Miz, and Miz waits a few seconds before he taps. Winner by Submission: The Rock!

Booker T: What a great match. The Rock and Miz can really put on a show.

Michael Cole: Especially the Miz!!
